Was a member once. Feel like we got pressured into purchasing a membership. Was only able to go a handful of times. For a few years was unable to go and afford to pay the maintenance fees. Asked for leniency when we wanted to come back and they were not willing to work with us. This was 10+ years ago, and I feel I lost a lot of money with this decision. Life lessons growing up I guess.

There are rental cabins very clean and spacious.. park models and R.V camping ... There is also an area just for tent camping ....Staff are awesome ... Very friendly atmosphere.. Everyone treats everyone like thier own family . .Highly recommended...

Rock Glen Family Resort
We are members and have been for 6 years. We absolutely love that we can show up without a reservation and they always have a site!! We even tested this on a July 1 long weekend. We find the atmosphere friendly and inviting. We enjoy the heated saltwater pool, mini golf, the live bands and the programs. Facilities are in great condition and the owner has been doing many upgrades over the last couple of years. We are happy to be members and glad we made the investment.

There must be some incentive given for those positive reviews - the staff are extremely unfriendly and unless you sign up for their biggest membership they really don't value you at all. The place is rundown and our friends who have been there for years told us stories about how they only care about money, not the actual people. We were only there for a handful of times as guests of members and we were amazed at the lack of warmth coming from the staff. Our friends shrugged it off saying that's just how they are but the area is nice so they put up with it. If you go there, you will immediately notice most of the staff doesn't even make eye contact with you. Like some of the reviews before, they also don't have much tolerance for kids making any noise or playing unless it's in the rec hall or the park.
